Avila Property Owners Association (APOA)

The Avila Property Owners Association is currently managed by the Executive Director, Elizabeth Sandifer. The Association includes all homeowners within Avila and consists of three departments: Administration, Maintenance, and Security.

Avila Administration Office

Location:  16727 Valseca de Avila, Tampa, Florida 33613   813-949-9768
Days and Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Avila’s APOA administration can provide assistance to Avila’s residents, their guests, and their service vendors.

We schedule meetings with all new residents who receive a “new residents package” from the association. We look forward to meeting with you and sharing information about our community.

Avila Maintenance Complex

Hours of Operation: Monday thru Friday 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
Avila is extremely proud of all of its buildings and common areas. The maintenance team is responsible for the common areas, the Avila Park, the Avila Dog Park, and the spectacular Avila entrances and is currently led by Maintenance Supervisor, Russell Dostal.

Avila Security

Hours of Operation: 24/7, 365 days a year

The Security Department is led by the Director of Security, Robert Stein. Officers are stationed at the Lake Magdalene Entrance, the Florida Avenue entrance, the Service Entrance, and the Crenshaw Lake entrance. In addition, officers routinely patrol the entire community in marked patrol vehicles.  All officers are fully trained by the security management team. Avila Security Officers are responsible, in part, for:

  • Controlled access to Avila,
  • Answering calls for service including medical and alarm calls, suspicious activity, crime prevention, and other emergencies,
  • Issue citations for speeding and other violations,
  • Coordinate and facilitate emergency/disaster planning, response, and recovery, and
  • Coordinating a large party or event parking within the community.
